Peptides + Natural Supplement Combo for Binge Eating & Food Noise: My Real Results (27 lbs Down)

Posted on June 29, 2026July 10, 2026 By Mere Penny

(What’s FINALLY Working For Sustained Weight Loss)

If you’ve ever felt like your brain is constantly yelling “snack time!” even when you’re not hungry, you’re not alone. As a woman with adult ADHD, binge eating and food noise were my biggest barriers to consistent weight loss and feeling in control.

Since starting retatrutide in early February 2026, combined with my natural supplement stack, I’ve dropped 27 lbs (from 158.6 lbs to 131.2 lbs as of late June) while feeling more focused and less obsessed with food. This isn’t magic. It’s a deliberate combo of low-dose peptides + targeted supplements that support dopamine, cravings, and overall brain health. Here’s exactly what I’m doing and what I’ve noticed.

Why Food Noise & Binge Eating Hit Harder with ADHD

My brain craves dopamine. Before peptides, I’d eat emotionally, graze mindlessly, or binge after stressful work or life events. Stimulants helped short-term but I quickly built tolerance. I wanted a sustainable approach that worked with my routines, not against them.

My Peptide Protocol (Retatrutide + Low-Dose Tirzepatide Exploration)

  • Started retatrutide February 2, 2026 at 0.25 mg weekly.

  • Titrated up gradually to ~1.2 mg weekly.

  • 1.5mg has been the highest dose I’ve hit, but currently sitting at 1.2mg

  • Recently exploring a low-dose tirzepatide combo for even smoother appetite control (still dialing this in – I’ll update in future posts).

I notice:

  • Dramatic reduction in food noise within the first week (but can take 2-3 weeks)

  • Smaller portions feel satisfying.

  • Fewer evening “raid the fridge” moments.

  • Steady energy instead of crashes.

I reconstitute and inject at home (super simple once you get the hang of it – but intimidating the first time, for sure!). Always start as low as possible and listen to your body. Side effect frequency / severity increase as dosage increases, which is why I started super low.

My Supporting Natural Supplement Stack

Peptides do the heavy lifting on appetite, but these supplements help with the dopamine, mood, and craving side of ADHD:

  • NAC – Helps with compulsive thoughts and cravings.

  • Pine Bark Extract – Supports focus and blood flow to the brain.

  • L-Tyrosine – Dopamine precursor, taken 1–2x daily.

  • Lion’s Mane – Brain fog fighter and nerve support.

  • Magnesium (Threonate or Bisglycinate) – Calms the nervous system, especially at night.

  • L-Theanine + Coffee – Smooth focus without jitters.

  • Creatine, Omega-3 (harp seal), Zinc, Vit D/K2, Methylene Blue, Java Brain – My full daily lineup for energy, mood, and recovery.

I take / I notice: The combo keeps my mood stable even as the scale moves. No extreme hunger rebound, and my morning walks feel easier with better recovery.

My Simple Weekly Tracker

Tracking keeps me consistent and helps me see patterns. Here’s a full 7-day template you can screenshot, copy into a notes app, Google Sheet, or print out:

How I use it:

  • Rate food noise morning and evening.

  • Note any sides (e.g., mild nausea first few days).

  • Review at the end of the week to adjust supplements, dose, or routines.

Tips for Success

  • Pair this with high-protein meals (my beef collagen protein shake + creatine is non-negotiable).

  • Keep your routines rock-solid. My 4:30am alarm, dawn dog walks and prepped supplements reduce decision fatigue.

  • Work with a doctor or knowledgeable prescriber. This is my personal experience, not medical advice.

  • Start slow, track everything, and celebrate non-scale wins like better focus and fewer cravings.

Final Thoughts

This peptide + natural supplement approach has been life-changing for my ADHD-related binge eating. The food noise is way quieter, the scale is moving in the right direction, and I finally feel like I’m working with my brain instead of fighting it.
