(My Current Stack I Use Nightly)
Sleep was one of my biggest ADHD struggles for years. Since building a consistent nighttime supplement stack, I fall asleep faster, sleep more deeply, and wake up feeling more restored.

My Nighttime Sleep Stack (Taken 30–60 min before bed)
Core supplements I take every night:
- Magnesium Glycinate (300–400 mg) + Magnesium L-Threonate Calms the nervous system and supports deeper sleep.
- Glycine (3–5 g) Helps me fall asleep faster and improves sleep quality.
- GABA Quiets racing thoughts.
- Myo-Inositol Supports calm and mood stability.
- 5-HTP Boosts serotonin (which helps with melatonin production).
- Krill Oil with Astaxanthin Anti-inflammatory benefits that may support sleep over time.
What the Research Says (Quick Highlights)
- Magnesium: Strong evidence linking magnesium deficiency to worse ADHD symptoms and sleep issues. Supplementation often helps with relaxation and sleep.
- Glycine: Multiple studies show 3g before bed improves subjective sleep quality, reduces fatigue, and helps with next-day alertness.
- 5-HTP: May support sleep by increasing serotonin/melatonin.
- Astaxanthin: Emerging research suggests it may help with sleep quality by reducing inflammation and oxidative stress, especially in people with higher stress or low mood.
